An Inconvenient Truth, No Matter How Much Alt-Far-Left Complain Twitter Will Never Be Communist Echo Chamber Again

Unless you avoid all news, by now you’ve heard that Elon Musk finalized his purchase of Twitter…for $44 BILLION…and while discovering abhorrent behavior by the prior owners and executives, he is also making changes to undo some of their worst decisions. We prior discussed Twitter (HERE, HERE, HERE and HERE).

Since actual freedom of speech is anathema to communists, many are fleeing. One very vocal flee-er there is George Takei, known for his 50+ year grudge against William Shatner. He fled to the “decentralized social media” platform ‘Mastodon’, which “is free and open-source software for running self-hosted social networking services. It has microblogging features similar to the Twitter service, which are offered by a large number of independently run nodes, known as instances, each with its own code of conduct, terms of service, privacy policy, privacy options, and moderation policies.” –Michael Scott’s favorite source of information.

What some lefties are discovering though is that Mastodon and the many other ‘social(IST) media’ sites aren’t as easy to use and don’t have the people they want to here from. Which presents a dilemma for them similar to the exploding head guy in this Chappelle’s Show skit. We believe they will come back, even Whoopi.

One of the many changes Elon Musk has made at Twitter is to ask for help spotting child pr0n, saying “Removing child exploitation is priority #1. Please reply in comments if you see anything that Twitter needs to address.”

That and vowing to suspend accounts promoting violence prompted the groomer communists ‘antifablm’ (also sometimes known as ‘blmantifa’…it is all one group, no matter what MSM claims), to accuse (south-)African American Musk of being a “fascist” who favors of “white supremacy” which of course logically leads them to threaten to burn down Tesla car dealerships.

Another change sure to be unpopular is the $20 a month for blue check-mark that was already reduced to $8 a month following a poll, and is now being turned into a multi-color mess. We agree that Elon has the right to monetize his site, but after reading about gold for companies, grey for government and blue for everyone else (famous or not), it just feels overly complex.

The last time he tried to change this system it led to people paying $8 just to pretend they were companies or famous people, leading to a massive stock drop for at least ‘Eli Lilly’ after an account spoofing them said “We are excited to announce insulin is now free.”

The more freedom Musk pushes for, on Twitter or elsewhere, the louder the outcry of the true dictators (democRATs, MSM, and woke companies). HERE is an excellent list of at least 50 companies no longer advertising on Twitter, which doubles as a great list of companies for us to boycott in return (if those didn’t work the left wouldn’t do them). And tell them you are doing it and why!

Elon even recently responded to someone asking about Apple and Google potentially banning Twitter from their app stores by saying he would consider making a phone (and apps) to compete with them if they did so.

Marjorie Taylor Greene (AKA ‘MTG’, R-Georgia, U.S. House) made an offer to Musk, “I’d like to invite Elon to share that with those of us who were permanently banned at an Oversight Hearing in the 118th Congress.”

We expect Musk will accept MTG’s invitation given that he already said “This is necessary to restore public trust”, when asked about releasing internal discussions by prior Twitter management that led to their decision to prevent users from sharing The New York Post’s October 14, 2020, about Hunter Biden’s laptop (prior to the November 3 election).

Trying to hurt the business and reputation of the world’s richest man isn’t a game most would play. Just as Kanye and Kyrie will be okay, even if their careers are taken from them, Musk is even more capable of riding out a leftist ‘hissy fit’ storm.
